Description

The Basilica was built in Gothic style in the mid-16th century, as the seat of government and also housed some shops on the ground floor. The hall has an area of 1,144 square meters and a height of 24 m.

The interventions carried out concern the restoration of the large ship’s hull roofing structure, the restoration and rehabilitation of the facing walls of the hall and the Palladian loggias, the restoration and integration of the trachyte block flooring, the construction of the Venetian terrace of the large hall on the first floor, the construction of the new structure of the Corte dei Bissari for the placement of the new central systems.
