Description

The Campanile di San Marco with its 98.6 m is the main monument of Venice and one of the national symbols.

The restoration interventions involved the photographic survey and numbering of the elements of the stone pavement of the square, archaeological excavation, consolidation of the ground around the perimeter of the bell tower, cleaning and restoration of the rainwater drainage channels, backfilling and laying of a waterproofing membrane, laying on site of the stone elements in the original position.
